JOB INCLUDES ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT

Seeking a maintenance technician who would enjoy a stable position within a residential complex and working with great team and a nice community. This is a 40 hours per week full-time position, 8am – 5pm (Monday-Friday) with possible after-hour work in emergencies.

Wage depending on skills and experience includes an apartment and parking in the complex, 100% paid employee medical premium, retirement benefits w/employer match, Aflac® with employer contribution, vacation/sick leave and other benefits.

Position Description

The technician will assist the property manager by performing general maintenance work for unit turnovers, completing routine work orders, and handling general upkeep of a 76-unit secured residential apartment complex. Experience and knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting is required. The technician also keeps the buildings clean; the equipment maintained; participates in unit inspections; helps to ensure that required materials and supplies are in stock; works cooperatively with contractors and vendors; and keeps the maintenance shop in good order.

Qualifications

- Minimum of three years of work experience in general maintenance.

- Computer knowledge in Internet searching, entering into a database, and email.

- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English to perform the duties of the job.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
