The Ke Kilohana condominium homeowners association is seeking full-time, self-motivated maintenance technician-floater. This is a position involved with minor repairs, building upkeep, and some housekeeping duties. Being at this position requires one to work throughout and around the property.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain building-related facilities, such as amenity rooms, sky deck, parking garage, sky lanais, Association offices, Association break rooms, storage, etc.
  • Maintain and perform proper repair works on all common area and amenities
  • Specific duties range from painting, drywall repairs, tiling, plumbing, to carpentry, replacing lights, basic electrical works, and preventative checks
  • Possesses fundamental knowledge of building functions and various building systems
  • Other duties to include minor housekeeping and ground keeping jobs
  • cleaning elevator tracks on 3rd floor
  • sweeping parking garage including guest stalls and common area parking on assigned parking level
  • sweep the property perimeter and grounds-keeping where needed
  • sweep and clean loading zone areas and ramp leading to loading zone areas
  • swap out trash compactor bins when needed; clean emptied trash bins
  • Pressure wash parking garage, sidewalks and other areas as directed * Service and maintain BBQ grill equipment and monitor for proper operation
  • Repair/service common area plumbing equipment and devices
  • Perform carpentry, masonry and spall repairs as needed or directed
  • Service trash compactor equipment and facility as required
  • Perform other duties as directed by Maintenance Lead
  • Work schedules are day shift, and will include either Saturday and/or Sunday

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Punctual
  • Needs to be physically capable to stand and walk for long periods
  • Sufficient communication skills to perform the job as instructed
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and great time management
  • Be able to co-operate with others and perform good teamwork
  • Respond and report to work orders directed by the maintenance lead
  • Complete all work orders on time in a professional manner,
  • Pass the Criminal Background Check and Drug Test
  • Live on Oahu island

WORK DAYS
Sunday through Thursday, may occasionally cover on Friday for coverage when needed but heads up would be given prior.
